CAGE commissions external review of Emwazi case
London - As part of this year’s annual review of its activities and plans for the future, CAGE Directors have decided to commission an external review of its handling of the Mohammed Emwazi case, and the subsequent media coverage and interviews. CAGE is looking for a broad spectrum of individuals, including those who have no involvement with the organisation but who have viewed or read the coverage of the Emwazi case, to assist us in gaining a better view of the perceptions of CAGE. Those interested in being a part of the focus group should please send a CV and brief email of your reasons for wishing to participate to \admin@communityview.org.uk. The deadline for submissions is 14 August 2015. CAGE is an advocacy organisation dedicated to continuous professional and organisational development. We campaign for the adherence to the principle of the rule of law and due process as a means of ending the War on Terror. We advocate for a rational, dialogue-based approach that supports the rights of all, and a world free from oppression and injustice. Dr Adnan Siddiqui, Director of CAGE, said: “This is an opportunity for anyone concerned with how CAGE is changing the prevailing War on Terror narratives to contribute to discussions that will help shape the way forward in constructive and meaningful ways.” “CAGE is continuously seeking to review and learn and we are looking forward to hearing from a variety of people from different backgrounds and perspectives.”
