CAGE launches nationwide tour on CTS Act to educate community on their rights
Surviving the CTS Act 2015: What the CTS ACT means for you and your community
CAGE launches this nationwide tour in order to educate the community on their rights after the recent expedited implementation of the CTS Bill into legislation.
Are you a young Muslim? A member of an Isoc? A parent? A youth worker? An imam? A professional that works with young Muslims? A trustee of a charity? If so, you WILL BE affected by the new Counter-Terrorisim and Security Act 2015.
CAGE presents a series of UK-wide workshops on the implications of this legislation. From school children being questioned about their views on the Middle East to doctors being reported on by their colleagues, the significance of this law is wide-reaching.
The tour will also aim to build a strong coalition of communities that can build a national campaign to repeal this law.
Speakers will include lawyers, activists and CAGE spokesperson. You will hear of case studies, go through practical tips and also be able to ask legal professionals any questions you may have. Be the first to receive CAGE’s unique workshop
