CAGE has been a thorn in the side of powerful governments which have suspended due process and ignored the principles of human rights law all in the name of the War on Terror. Torture, rendition, kidnap are words that have become common currency, but since 2003 CAGE has been vocal in condemning and exposing these illegal activities.
