With news this week of an American Journalists death in Iraq, people are questioning IS motives and the role the UK and US has had in the state Iraq is now in. We have seen a spread of terror being used by States to oppress dissenters from the US to Nigeria, whilst using the “threat” of terrorism to instil a heightened sense of fear within the people.
