Resisting structural Islamophobia – Taking lessons from France
Event Details
Islamophobia is a global phenomena. It has long been entrenched in the British legal, political and media landscape and has been exacerbated since Israel’s genocidal assault on Gaza. This story is similar across Western nations.
Join us on 2 May where we will be holding a unique workshop on how we can confront and resist structural islamophobia. We will look to our counterparts in France and examine how they have continued to fight back against state sponsored Islamophobia.
The workshop will be delivered by Rayan Freschi, CAGE International’s France based researcher.
Let’s come together as a community to support each other, uphold justice, in a space to learn and organise.
Light dinner will be provided
